CSS 3d. Testing 3d elements for Xerxesian Chronicles
Hikari:
A city in south west Jamesia
The spring fountain is in the center of the city and was built by the Jamesians alongside the hand pumps that jamesians use to collect water in large vases. The two statues in front of the fountain are statues of two jamesian gods, the goddess of fertility, love and life Kyaazhina and the god of earth, rocks and fresh water Divekizos. The old jamesian gods are still worshiped but they are the servants of Ahura-Mazda and are called magyu by the jamesians. The city of Hikari was first founded in 32,893 BX by The Rwi-Swi Oxa who had lost a lot of power due to losing a war with the Aradrozian Ssatu, which resulted in most of the Rwi-Swi tributary states rebelling. Following the trend common for oxa tribes at the time the Hikar tribe of the Rwi-Swi Oxa urbanized and built a large fortress that became the city Hikar-Jwi, built over a spring that fed Lake Zirni which is now called Hikari Oasis by the jamesians.
In 30,732 BX Hikar-Jwi was conquered by the Zardonians who later colonized the city, calling it Hikarium. The city became the provincial capital of Hikaria until the Jamesians conquered it during their sudden and unexpected rise in 30,021 BX. The city became a major jamesian city alongside, Ectabana and Kwortix which formed the young Kingdom of Jamesia.
The Jamesians lost Hikari to the fast-burning Katanian Empire (21,300 – 18,420BX) where the city swapped owners more times than could be counted but the Jamesians won in the end as King Artaxerxes I accelerated the rotting Katanian Empire into its grave. This made Hikari a Jamesian city ever since.
Hikari was never attacked by the Astarts during the period of time when the Jamesos Realm was and still is a desert. Xerxes, his parents and his older sister often visited Hikari when he was a child as the city of Hikari was only 20km away. Where the Achemyeniz family got their supplies and sell their goods to shops, mostly pots made by Xerxes’ mother and berries and olives from the garden of the Achemyeniz.
